Inspired by the Frank Capra holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Improvised Life” returns to the Bad Dog after a wildly successful run in 2009. On Christmas Eve, frustrated businessman, George Bailey is about to call it quits when his guardian angel appears to show him what things would have been like if he’d never existed… only this time, there isn’t a script. Heartwarming? Probably. Hilarious? Absolutely.
Directed by Canadian Comedy Award winner Kerry Griffin (Theatresports, Slap Happy) and featuring an incredible cast: Lisa Merchant (Theatresports, Train 48), Leslie Seiler (Second City, Punch in the Box), Dave Pearce (Slap Happy, Second City), Graeme Stewart (Weirdos, Theatresports), Craig Brown (Hot Box, Just For Laughs), Ashley Botting (Second City, Show Stopping Number), Alastair Forbes (Christmas Blows, Hot Oil Barons in Love) and Tess Degenstein (Edmonton’s Rapid Fire Theatre).
