That Friday Show consists of two 35-minute sets with five performers in each set. The first set is a high energy, short form set made up exclusively of classic improv games and open scenes. The second set is a fully improvised, directed one-act play or other longform set.

SITCOM

For generations people have watched the TV sitcom; and love 'em or hate 'em, they've become a huge part of North American pop culture. They've helped define the way we dress, the way we speak, the way we make each other laugh and even our politics. And now the Bad Dog Theatre Company brings you its own interpretation on the sitcom with SITcom.

SITcom is a character-based improv show. From an audience suggestion, the cast of improvisors will play one single character for the entire show, interweaving three separate story lines into one single story arc, and smack dab to it's third act conclusion.

OFF BOOK

Off Book brings together actors from Toronto's lively theatre world with seasoned improvisers to inject new life into scripted scenes. Whether it's roles from their current show, their past successes or even their "dream" part, the actors have to be on their toes because they'll be the only ones following the script.
