Globehead is back!

We want YOU! In our 23RD ANNUAL GLOBEHEAD TOURNAMENT, teams will face off for honour, for glory, and for a ridiculous trophy. 

Bad Dog Theatre's Yearly Short Form Improv Competition is back this summer and we want YOU! Teams will compete every Friday night at 7pm at Comedy Bar Bloor throughout the summer. Apply with your most ridiculous ideas - bits and costumes are encouraged, but not required. 

Teams will be paid $100/team per show

  • Applications Close May 15

  • Teams will be notified by May 22

  • Shows start July 5 and run until August 30

The Details:

  1. Teams may have a maximum of 5 players, and the applicant will be the main contact for their team

  2. Performers may not play on more than one team in the tournament, but may apply for multiple teams

  3. Teams must be available for at least one preliminary night, as well as for the Semi-Finals (Aug 16 OR Aug 23) AND the finals (Aug 30)

  4. Submissions close May 15th

  5. Teams will be notified by May 22nd

  6. The tournament lineup will be release May 27th
