ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
Nothing elevates improv quite like a great improvisor in the tech booth. Learn about the unique role of stage manager / tech director in live comedy from one of the best in the country. Learn tricks, tips, and best practices while experimenting hands-on with the real tools of the trade.

WHO IS IT FOR?
This workshop is intended for anyone interested learning more about the role of the technical director in live comedy. Improvisors without tech experience are welcome as are those with experience that could benefit from Seann’s insight.

ABOUT SEANN
SEANN MURRAY is Bad Dog Theatre’s Technical Director and Stage Manager of Second City’s Touring Company. He is also an actor, improvisor, and member of the award-winning comedy group Sex T-Rex - with whom he has co-created several hit theatre productions. Some of Seann’s SM credits include Second City’s If I could #Throwback Time, Laura Ramoso’s Frances, Ron Pederson’s Miracle on Queen St., and the Canadian Comedy Award-winning The Adventures of Tom Shadow.
